Administrative duties to include, but not limited to budgets, general office duties, reports, call schedules, FMLA.
Answer phones and distribute messages appropriately. All patient messages will be entered into EPIC.Complete all FMLA forms as requested. Assists with Drafting and implementation of operating policies. Locates and compiles information and formats reports, graphs, tables, records and other sources of information.
Calls patients to remind them of pre op appointments and surgical dates and times. Exchanges non-routine information using tact and persuasion as appropriate; Requires good oral and written communication skills Controls supply orders; budget
Administrative responsibilities for typing and distribution of call schedule for GYN Specialties. General office duties, mail, fax, typing, scanning. Responsible for maintaining and organizing office files. Responsible for all IT requests, help desk tickets, Environmental Service problems, etc. and tracking thereof.
Scheduling of Surgery into EPIC. Follow up/completion of tasks related to all surgery patients. Cancellation of patients when needed. Scanning of all documents/phone calls/etc into EPIC.
To provide a level of service to providers and other Hopkins faculty and staff that is acceptable by the Division.To provide high level customer service to patients.and colleagues.
JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis.
