Responsible for developing, planning and implementing a comprehensive Annual Giving Program that will increase participation and financial support from alumni and friends of the College. To include coordinating and managing all aspects of the Annual Giving and Alumni Relations fundraising. Direct mail, budgeting, tracking financial reporting, special events and stewardship to increase awareness and support. Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
Three (3) years of full time fundraising experience
Familiarity working with fundraising software, preferably Raiser's Edge
Proven proficiency in internet research/navigation and social media resources
Proficient in all Micro Office software
Valid driver's license with a driving record of less than five (5)violation points

POSITION SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Coordinate a comprehensive annual fund program designed to broaden the College's donor base and increase overall participation and financial support to the annual campaign.
Coordinate annual giving programs including: managing a targeted, multi-approach direct mail program, a phone solicitation program, Giving Tuesday initiative, Text2Give Campaign, and building online giving.
Coordinate and develop the College's annual giving societies, including tracking donor acquisitions, renewals, managing memberships, and assisting with stewardship activities.
Plan and coordinate alumni events and programs including the alumni association board meetings, mixers, Distinguished Alumni nomination and awards/ alumni day of service, Crab Feast and other programs as assigned.
Identify annual giving donors and prospects between the $250 and $4999 with a focus on increasing annual gifts. Make recommendations for movement of assigned donors to major gift prospect tracking.
Establish fundraising goals, objectives, strategies, schedules, and analysis of results for each element of Annual Giving and alumni engagement.
Work with the College Communications and identified staff to coordinate a cohesive annual marketing effort to increase annual gifts and alumni involvement through CCBC's website, publications, social networking and events related to the Annual Giving and Alumni Relations.
Analyze data regarding annual giving programs and past giving trends to provide analysis of program results and to plan for future segmentation.
Implement plans to increase the percentage of donors who take advantage of corporate matching gift programs.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of College programs and organizational priorities.
Develop budgets for the annual giving program and alumni engagement activities.
Prepare weekly, monthly and annual reports on all alumni and annual campaign activity.
Monitor the direct mail program and interface with vendor to ensure timely distribution.
Develop the College's New Donor program and implement stewardship initiatives to recognize donors.
Plan and implement program specific fundraising campaigns (i.e. mortuary science, performing arts, etc.)
Update alumni records by correcting information on each constituent as needed.
